LEVEL: for dancers who have taken intermediate/advanced tango level classes on a regular basis for at least 5 years and meet all the requirements of that level. 

DESCRIPTION/TOPICS: The class will start with technique training: drilling for both roles,  specific exercises for each role and couple exercises from simple to more complex; emphasis on getting extra disassociation, simple and double molinetes with regular syncopation and double syncopation, complex footwork, speed, flexibility in the embrace, couple connection and musicality.

We will ten apply the previous work to complex sequences including these topics:  Elegant walking in # systems and lanes; paradas/pauses, simple, double turns: counter turns; enrosques; "entradas" vs "sacadas"; entradas for boh roles; unexpected changes of direction. complex rebounds, alterations; Embellishments. Voleos, double voleos. Some fancy motions will be presented as part of the training. Navigation.  Musicality and Orchestra Interpretation: how to step accordingly. Fluidity in the dance. 

REGISTRATION in couples is required. Students must be approved by the Teachers.
