Led by CPA and small business owner Patricia Tsai of Choco Vivo this workshop will give you the basics to understanding how to keep current and accurate financial records to make "tax time" much less stressful. Learn about your income (profit and loss) statement, a balance sheet, and a cash flow forecast. This is a basic introduction to get you started on understanding what all of the financial records mean.

Patricia Tsai is the owner and founder of ChocoVivo. She attended the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's in Economics and a concentration in Accounting. After a year in consulting, she went on to obtain a CPA license working in the private and public accounting and finance sectors from Kia Motor’s America to Kodak. On a trip to Oaxaca, Mexico in 2001, she was introduced to traditional chocolate-making methods. With 15 years of in-depth research in the chocolate industry, she is now considered a well-known expert in the traditional methods of making chocolate as well as being a master Chocolate Maker. She has been featured in Japanese and US publications and spoken at events such as The Getty Museum, UCLA, and Tedx Japan. She has also collaborated and worked with large corporations from the likes of Google, Tom’s Shoes, Participant Media, Vaseline, BMW, and Wikipedia.
