To catch bands and artists in a much larger setting, you can head over to the Hollywood Bowl, which is one of the top 10 live music venues in the United States. It has hosted many iconic artists and still continues to do so. The Hollywood Hills backdrop provides the perfect atmosphere to sing and dance all night long.
The Fonda Theatre is another great place to enjoy live music in Los Angeles, and it comes with a Spanish Colonial Revival Style backdrop. It also hosts some of the best musicals in the country from time to time.
LA also has plenty of music festivals from time to time, and one of the biggest of them all is the Rolling Loud festival. Last year saw the likes of superstars such as Lil Wayne, Post Malone, and 21 Savage, making it one of the biggest rap and hip-hop festivals.
If you like electronic music and alternative genres, then the Hard Music Festival features a lineup of awesome artists. Last year saw Marshmello, Diplo, Rick Ross, and Travis Scott all take the stage.
LA is also home to the coveted Berklee School of Music which has taught some of the world’s most talented musicians. There are other institutes as well, including the likes of the Musicians Institute, the Manhattan Music School and the Guitar Centre.
UCLA also has its own school of music, known as the Herb Alpert School of Music while USC has the prestigious Thornton School of Music. Overall, LA has a fantastic musical culture, and it is definitely a place to visit if you’re looking to catch the best artists.
