Class Description What we will cover in the hour. We may not get to all of them with time. But feel free to mention what you want to focus on in the class:
INTRO TO DIRECTING/FILMMAKING
A. You will learn the basics, common steps from Pre-Production to Post Production. What you need to also know in regards to safety on a film set. And how important that is. Take things slow and steady, not fast and rushed.
B. Different Jobs on a Film Set. The above the line and below the line crew. What do they really do? What are your interests in filmmaking. What is your focus including directing?
C. Common director dialogue, and screenwriting dialogue. FORMATTING. For Pilots vs Features vs Short Films vs Commercials vs Music Videos.
D. Have fun on Sets, We are doing what we love. Do your job right but don't be so serious that you can't enjoy working with people at all. Love what you do. Otherwise find a new career.
