Join Social Walks water men Ads + Dan for an exciting day at Lorne Beach where we will be hosting a fun-filled event!

Our 5km Easy Coastal Walk will take you on a scenic journey along the beautiful coastline of Lorne. After the walk, get ready to hit the waves with a fun, adventurous Learn to Surf Session where you'll be taught the basics of surfing by experienced instructors.

It's the perfect way to spend a day outdoors, surrounded by nature and good vibes. Don't miss out on this epic adventure!

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

Meeting Location: Lorne Beach Carpark, 83 Mountjoy Parade, Lorne VIC 3232

Meeting Time: Arrive 11:00am for a strict 11:30am Departure.

Parking options: There is parking at the meeting location.

NOTE: Arriving on time is critical to the Walk getting away on time. Participants not checked-in by 11:20am may be left behind.

CARPOOLING: Need help getting a lift to the hike, feel free to post in the Facebook Group

ITINERARY

11:00am - Meet

11.30am - Depart for coastal Hike

2:00pm - Surf Lesson in Lorne

4:00pm - Complete Surf Lesson

4.30pm - Meet Lorne Hotel

5:00pm - Early Dinner

6:00pm - Finish

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 2L)

-Towel + Bathers

-Wetsuit and/or Rash Vest (optional)

- Snacks/food for the walk

- Money for lunch at the Pub afterwards

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable sturdy walking shoes

- Weather suitable clothing (check weather the night before)

- Hat and Sunscreen

FINISH

The Hike should take around 2.5 hours with some small breaks to enjoy the scenery as well and to get photos
