The Saints & Smugglers 100 Mile Challenge returns in 2026
Lock, Stock & Two Cornish Barrels.
The Saints & Smugglers 100 Mile Challenge returns, starting at 6am on Saturday 26th September 2026. Starting and finishing at the Hannafore Hotel in Looe, you will have 39 hours to complete the route which crosses the County twice and in both the North & The South Cornish Coastline.
100 Miles of challenging Cornish terrain with 18000ft of linked with two ferry crossings to make one unforgettable epic Mile Challenge.
Fully supported self-navigation exercise with live GPS tracking and 8 feed stations / checkpoints with cut offs along the route.
Ferry Crossings: At Rock & Fowey during normal ferry operating times - your runner bib will grant you passage across to the other side. Outside of normal hours, both ferries will be running as a private hire for all competitors. Maximum turn around time for each ferry should be 15 minutes.
Mandatory Kit List – Runners will have a mandatory kit list to carry.
Fully supported self-navigation exercise with live GPS tracking and 7 feed stations along the route:
CP1 – Dobwalls Village Hall – 10.7 Miles: Cut off 1006hrs.
CP2 – Jamaica Inn – 22.5 Miles: Cut off 1430hrs.
CP3 – Cobwebb Inn Boscastle - 38 Miles: Cut off 2024hrs.
CP4 – Port Isaac Village hall – 51.5 Miles: Cut off 0130hrs. (Sun 28th Sept)
CP5 – Padstow Social Club – 63.5 Miles: Cut off 0600hrs.
CP6 – Lanivet Community Centre – 77.5 Miles: Cut off 1128hrs.
CP7 – Fowey Town Hall – 90.5 Miles: Cut off 1628hrs.
CP8 - Polperro (Timing only) - 97.5 Miles: Cut off 1923hrs.
Finish – Hannafore Point Hotel: 102 Miles: Cut of 2104hrs.
Support crews are allowed but at designated crew points.
