Come for the walk, take time to notice, and stay for the connection.
We'd meet at 10am at Hannafore (below the kiosk) and walk down around to East Looe, taking our time so about 2 hours.
Looe is full of colour — sometimes bold, sometimes hidden in the smallest details — and this is an invitation to notice it together.
A Photography Colour Walk is a relaxed, creative wander where we choose one colour and spend the walk photographing anything that fits that shade: doors, boats, shopfronts, textures, reflections, seaside details, or unexpected surprises. It’s a mindful, playful way to slow down, train your eye, and see familiar streets from fresh angles — whatever the weather decides to do.
There’s no pressure, no competition, and no “right” camera. Phones, compact cameras, and DSLRs are all welcome. All ages welcome This is a relaxed, social walk where we will sometimes be spread out, under 16’s are welcome but will need to be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
Experience doesn’t matter; curiosity does.
After each walk, we’ll share our images in a friendly Facebook group, building a growing collection of Looe through colour and creating a warm, social space to connect, chat, and inspire one another.
There’s no cost and no expectations — just enthusiasm, curiosity, and a love of seeing.
Afterwards if there’s interest, we’ll head to a local café to share stories, images, and conversation.
From time to time, I may also share future walks, workshops, or learning opportunities with the group.
