Circles are everywhere if we take the time to notice them. They are one of the first shapes we recognise in the world around us; the sun and moon above us, the patterns in flowers, the rings inside a tree trunk, the ripple of water, the details of an eye, or even the simple slice of an orange.

We also create circles in the spaces around us — round tables, fountains, wheels, windows, and the familiar curves of roads and roundabouts.
But circles are more than just a shape. They can represent connection, movement, time, completion, and the idea of life coming full circle.

For this challenge, on our walk look for circles from your own creative perspective. You could try:
⭕ Find a circle
Capture an object that naturally has a circular shape — a flower, clock, plate, wheel, bubble, fruit, reflection, or anything else you discover.
⭕ Use circular composition
Look for natural circular frames, arches, windows, tunnels, or reflections that guide the viewer’s eye around your image.
⭕ Experiment
Try something different — motion blur with camera movement whilst taking a long focus shot.
The challenge isn’t just to photograph a circle… it’s to notice how circles appear in the world.
This is not a taught workshop, it's an opportunity for us all to gather and enjoy photography and the social aspect.
