Join us on Friday February 20th 2026 at the Portbyhan Hotel & Restaurant for an evening with the fabulous DerryAirs sea shanty group from Downderry.
Tickets are £25 pp to include a drink (pint of cider, beer or glass of wine) and a home made fish pie. There’s a vegetarian alternative of a spinach, cheese & potato pie with a filo top.
After the huge success of the Shanties & Seafood evening this summer, we are now planning ahead to 2026. Our aim is to stage 6 concerts in June, July & August. The evening at the Portbyhan will be a curtain raiser for Summer Shanties 2026 to raise funds to cover the costs of the groups, so that more money can be donated to local good causes.
In 2025, we raised £1,600 which was spit between Looe In Bloom, Looe Defibrillator Appeal, Looe NYE Fireworks and Looe’s RNLI.
