Join the Sunshine State Homeschoolers for another TEEN Dance!! This will be an evening of music, dancing, games, and fun! Snacks and drinks will be provided for the teens to enjoy. We will also have a "Best Dressed" contest as well as dancing contests! Our theme is Under the Moon!! Event Date: January 14, 2026 Event Time: 5:30-9:00 PM Drop-off begins at 5:25 PM Doors will open at 5:30 PM Pick Up begins at 9:00 PM Event Address: Longwood FL Contact Chrysalis (Chris) at 407-300-4212 Email: ssshomeschoolers@gmail.com Tickets: $20 per teen (by December 1), $30 per teen after (after December 1) This form will prompt for payment after it is completed. Please pay when prompted. An additional $10 per teen will be added if organizers need to send email reminders, text messages, invoices, etc. to request payment. Historically, these dances sell out and reach capacity before the last day to purchase tickets online. Make sure you register and pay for your ticket(s) early! Chaperones have been pre-selected. Who can attend? Homeschoolers ages 11– high school seniors can attend this dance. If your teen recently graduated, attended past dances, and currently has friends and/or siblings attending the event, please send an email to ssshomeschoolers@gmail.com. What kind of food will be served? Each parent must bring at least one food item to share with the homeschoolers at the event (details are included in the registration form above). What kind of music will be played? Clean versions of current popular music. Is there a dress code? Teens can choose to dress up or dress casually. Dress and appearance at the party is the responsibility of the parents and teens (see registration form for details). What about personal belongings? While teens are responsible for their personal belongings they have brought to the venue (purses, bags, sweaters, books, etc.), all bags will be checked before entry. Purses and bags should be reasonable size for storage purposes. What types of behaviors are prohibited? All parents and teens at the event must follow the guidelines of the Sunshine State Homeschoolers at all times. No destructive behavior or bullying of any kind is allowed. Removal or damage of decorations, games, etc. for the event is prohibited. How are teens checked out when the event is over? We have a pickup procedure, including timing and a car line route.
