It is the first ever Central Florida cybersecurity community gathering.
Our goal is to introduce people interested in cybersecurity to the local information security groups, and help them decide what path or group is best for them.
But we are not excluding those who are already pursuing a path in cybersecurity. For people who are pursuing ethical hacking (Red Team), there will be a cyber range for them to test out their skills.
For people pursuing management or defending (Blue Team), or even if you are just into IT, this will be a good time to socialize with all of the local security groups in a fun party environment with food.
All attendees and contenders will have a chance to win prizes. (So a minimum of 9 prizes will be given at the event. 3 for the cyber range, 3 for the cook off, and 3 for attendees. cyber range and cook off participants get a double chance to win prizes.)
The event is broken up into three separate but connected parts (Cyber Range, Cook-off, and Networking)
Cyber Range:
Those who want to test their hacking skills. The cyber range will have elements of social engineering, lock picking, fun social tasks, and capture the flag (CTF). A prize will be given to the first, second and third ranked team of the event. The cyber range is local only, and only available during the event.
Since it is a local event that should be completed within the event window, we are limiting the amount of team members who can participate. Get your Cyber Range tickets now!
Even if you don’t have a technical bone in your body—but your cooking’s unmatched—you belong here. This is a celebration of food, flavor, and persuasion. Bring your best, win their tastebuds (or their hearts).
Bring Your Best DishAll styles of food are welcome—wings, empanadas, curry, cold noodles, jerk tofu... if it’s a full dish and you made it, we want a bite. Main dishes only—no chips and salsa, no baked goods.
Plan for SamplesAim for 50–100 bite-sized portions. Don’t worry about feeding the full crowd—small tastes go a long way, and we’ll spread the love. (see how voting works and use your judgment of how much to bring)
No Heat RequiredYour dish should be safe and tasty at room temperature for up to 4 hours. We are not providing power or warming gear (but you can bring your own chafing trays or burners if needed).
Shared Space ServingYou’ll be sharing a table with other contestants. Limit your dish to one large aluminum tray and wire stand. Bring your own serving utensil (tongs, ladle, etc.). Please label any common allergens.
Attendees Are the JudgesEach attendee will receive voting tickets to cast for their favorite dishes in three categories. This is a people’s choice showdown—win them over with flavor, flair, or finesse.
Cook-off Categories:
Every attendee gets three sets of color-coded tickets—one for each category.
The contestant with the most votes in each category wins that category. So yes—bribery, charm, and shameless self-promotion are totally allowed.
Note: Space for the cook-off trays are limited so we are limiting the amount of cook-off participants. Lock in your spot today!
For those who want to learn more about a career in cybersecurity (or just wants to hang out with peers) but do not want to participate in the cyber rage or cook-off, they can enjoy themselves by judging the cook-off, networking with the local groups / event sponsors, while enjoying good music. There may also be an opportunity to be mentored by a group participating in the cyber range.
Note: This is an indoor event. Space is limited and prices will raise the closer to the event date. Get your tickets while the prices are low!
