· As always, Resistance Crafts will be available to take home for a small donation.
· And we'll have loads of FREE buttons, of course!

What's a Community Stand?
If you haven't been to one before, a Community Stand is a gathering of the good people in our area who come together in the name of democracy, freedom of choice, and the rights of ordinary working people and families. It began as a protest march, but has become more of a mini-festival in the park. A freeform rally where some people march around the circle, some stand on the corner with a sign, some just hang out at the gazebo or on the benches and talk. We all sit in our homes and doom scroll, or sigh at the news, and too often feel isolated with our fears and concerns. Every two weeks we gather together and see that we're not alone. We have numbers, power, and just maybe, the ability to change things for the better.

What Do Y'all Protest?
Though our Community Stands were once themed, we stopped that. People show up with signs about whatever is in their heart and mind at the time. Are you frustrated with billionaires running amok in our society? Pissed about Trump? Protesting for peace? Yes to all of that. Bring a sign or borrow one of ours - we have a big range of slogans for whatever is bothering you about the general state of this ailing nation of ours.

Who is Cascade Forward?
Cascade Forward is a 501(c)4 organization in Longview, WA. We organize protests and put pressure on local officials to do better by the hard working Americans they serve. We focus community power by raising funds, organizing volunteers, and providing structure for local action to fill in the gaps left by ineffective government and apathetic officials. Our goal is to raise our region up from economic and cultural stagnation. We have been organizing these rallies since the early spring of 2025, and will keep doing so until we're satisfied Democracy is safe.
