Over the past century, the Longview Public Library has been a cornerstone of learning, growth, and togetherness. We celebrate this legacy with unforgettable events throughout April 2026!

Celebrating Youth in the Library
Saturday, April 18 | 2 PM

This FREE will include a Children's Illustrator Talk with Corinna Luyken, Children's Quilt Unveiling, and Refreshments and Cupcakes!
 
Corinna Luyken is the award-winning, best-selling author and illustrator of picture books including The Arguers, The Book of Mistakes, and ABC and You and Me. She has also illustrated picture books for other authors, including the New York Times and Kirkus Best Picture Book of 2022 Patchwork by Matt de la Peña. 

Corinna will give a kid-focused presentation about her inspiration and book-making process, including a read aloud and an opportunity for questions. 

Books will be available for purchase from Paperbacks Galore.
