Warrior's Edge est un concept unique créé pour mettre à l'honneur la diversité des AMHE, et notamment certaines armes habituellement sous-représentées.
Après une première édition pilote réussie, Warrior’s Edge revient avec une formule améliorée sur deux jours. Au programme : une fin de semaine remplie d’ateliers d’armes d’hast, d’épée longue, d’épée de côté et de messer, un tournoi réunissant des combattant·es expérimenté·es et beaucoup de plaisir en perspective !
🗓 Samedi : une journée d’ateliers ouverte à tout le monde
🗓 Dimanche : un tournoi au nombre de places limitées
Le tournoi est organisé selon un format unique visant à célébrer la diversité des AMHE. Les participant·es s'affronteront en utilisant quatre catégories d'armes au choix à chaque match :
• Épée longue OU arme d’hast
• Rapière et dague OU épée et bocle
• Épée de côté OU sabre
• Dussack OU Messer
📋 Format des matchs
• Chaque match comporte des échanges avec les 4 armes.
• Le premier combattant qui inscrit deux touches gagnantes avec une arme remporte l'arme.
• Le match est gagné lorsqu'un des deux combattants a remporté au moins 3 armes. L'objectif est donc de remporter le maximum d'armes par combat.
• Chaque touche gagnante vaut 1 point.
• En cas d'égalité à 2 armes remportées par chaque combattant, une ultime manche en mort subite aura lieu avec la dague.

About the event
Warrior’s Edge is a unique concept created to celebrate the diversity of HEMA, especially highlighting some weapons that are often underrepresented.
After a successful pilot edition, Warrior’s Edge is back stronger than ever with an enhanced two-day format. On the program: a full weekend with workshops on polearms, longsword, sidesword, and messer, a tournament bringing together experienced fighters, and plenty of fun in sight!
Saturday: a full day of workshops open to everyone
Sunday: a tournament with limited spots
The tournament follows a unique format. Participants will face each other using four weapon categories per match:
•Longsword OR polearm
• Rapier and dagger OR sword and buckler
• Sidesword OR sabre
• Dussack OR messer
📋 Match Format
• Each match includes exchanges with all 4 weapons.
• The first fighter to score two winning hits with a weapon wins that weapon.
• The match is won when one fighter has secured at least 3 weapons. The goal is to win as many weapons as possible during the match.
• Each winning hit is worth 1 point.
• In case of a tie (2 weapons won each), a sudden-death round will be fought with the dagger.
