ABOUT THE BAND
Young and Dead is five young musicians from Boulder, Colorado, united by a deep love for the music of the Grateful Dead and a shared commitment to keeping it alive for new generations. Rooted in the spirit of exploration that defined the Dead’s sound, the band approaches this timeless catalog with both reverence and fearless creativity.

Young and Dead embraces the full spectrum of the Grateful Dead’s music. They believe the songs are living things, meant to evolve with every performance. No two shows are the same.

Improvisation is at the heart of what they do. Inspired by the Dead’s tradition of spontaneous interplay and musical conversation, Young and Dead thrives in the moment. They invite the audience to join them as they discover new musical spaces and experiences.

With youthful energy and old-soul sensibility, Young and Dead honors the enduring legacy of the Grateful Dead while carving out a sound that’s uniquely their own. For longtime Deadheads and first-time listeners alike, their shows are a celebration of community, connection, and the endless possibility of live music.

FOOD DRIVE EVENT
All of our events are FOOD DRIVE EVENTS. Every show supports giving back and feeding our local community.

NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL or beverages of any kind. It jeopardizes our liquor license. We have offerings besides beer! N/A, G/F, Boozy slushies, Wine, Kombucha, Cider, Seltzer, house-made fruited lemonade... Water bottles are allowed/encouraged but all drinking vessels must be emptied upon entry. No exceptions. Backpacks+Bags are subject to search.

SEATING | SPECIAL REQUESTS:

Please arrive early for preferred seating. Be considerate of others, sit at tables appropriate for your party size and share. Chairs are not for stowage.

We receive many special requests to reserve seating. Please understand that we are unable to "hold" seats unless you are a large group coordinating multiple tables or have special needs requests. Thank you for your understanding.

DANCING | SPACE 
All guests must respect their neighbor's personal space and healthy boundaries.
Everyone is in a different place. Be respectful. Be kind. We want you all to feel safe.

WEATHER
Full shade, full sun, and cover are not guaranteed in all spaces, please plan accordingly with sunscreen, sunglasses, rain gear... Forecast is currently unknown, but please plan accordingly for Colorful Colorado weather. Performances are RAIN or SHINE unless otherwise specified. No Refunds.

FOOD
We will have a mobile restaurant catering partners on-site and off-site options for ordering in. No outside food and beverages of any kind allowed. Water bottles encouraged but must be emptied upon entry.
