This year's Ryssby Candlelight Worship services will be held on:Saturday, December 13 at 4:00 PM, 5:15 PM, 6:30 PM, and 7:45 PMSunday, December 14 at 4:00 PM, 5:15 PM, and 6:30 PMEach year, the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Longmont, Colorado, proudly hosts the Ryssby Christmas Candlelight Services at the historic Ryssby Church, a landmark established by Swedish settlers in 1878. This cherished tradition, which began in 1938, brings together a series of seven services over the second full weekend of December. Attendees can look forward to music from the First Lutheran Chancel Choir and other musicians, traditional Christmas carols, and the Christmas Story, as told in the Gospel of Luke, read in Swedish.Saturday services will be conducted by Bishop Meghan Johnston Aelabouni, Bishop of the ELCA Rocky Mountain Synod and Sunday services by Pastor Garrett Struessel of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Longmont.How to Make Reservations:Reservations can be obtained online HERE!
