Although honeybees don’t use water for hydration, they collect water to aid their digestion and keep their guts healthy. Bees also collect water in their wings to fan themselves inside their hot hives. Perhaps the most important reason to provide water for bees is to support bee larvae. Nurse bees need water to create royal jelly to feed bee larva and help them grow. You can expect to create one or two bee baths during the workshop! No clay experience is required for this activity.Our adult workshops are for ages 16 and up ONLY!
