Through acknowledgement, validation, and witnessing, communal grieving allows us to experience a level of healing that is deeply and profoundly freeing.”When you take your ornament home, you are invited to hang it somewhere you’ll see it, a reminder that grief is not something to “get over,” but something we honor and continue to be in relationship with.
