Purinton, Ph.D. from the History Department at Northeastern University to explore the importance of taverns, inns, and ordinaries between 1620 and 1776, where radicals imbibed and plotted to change the world, and these gathering places took center stage as the American Revolution took shape.

This program helps Longmeadow Celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution and is sponsored by the Longmeadow Historical Society and the Friends of Storrs Library.
