Long Island City has become one of the city's most rapidly evolving neighborhoods, with a thriving art scene and sweeping views of the midtown skyline. We will be meeting by the flagpole on the southern side of the Queens Public Library at Hunters Point and exploring the beautiful views and iconic landmarks along the East River at Gantry Plaza State Park. 

Photo gear will not be provided, but as with all our photowalks, feel free to bring your favorite camera, a camera phone or no camera at all! This is a great opportunity to build community while taking in one of NYC's best views. All levels are welcomed.

Meeting location: Flagpole on southern side of Queens Public Library at Hunters Point (next to circle of stone benches)
