The first experience of its kind in Long Beach, step into Blacksmith's alter-ego "The Blackbird" for a truly unique Writers Round. The Blackbird invites you to a cozy and magical evening featuring a celebration of the arts surrounded by candlelight. Artist line-up will be announced soon.
What's a Writers Round?
A writer's round, often called a Nashville-style writers' round, is a live showcase where a few songwriters share a stage, taking turns round-robin style to perform original songs acoustically and tell the stories behind them in a casual, intimate, "in-the-round" format. It's a collaborative environment focused on the song itself, allowing writers to test material and connect with audiences and other musicians in a supportive, listening-room setting.

-Doors open at 6:00 PM, show from 6:30-7:30 PM.
