- **Event Description**: Join Jenelle and Michelle as they lead you through the chakras with movement, sound, and self-reflection. We'll start with the Base Chakra (Muladhara) February 22nd, and each following workshop will move up to the next chakra. These beautifully designed 90-minute sessions will explore that chakra's role as an energy center and its influence on your daily life. 

The Solar Plexus Chakra, called Manipura, is the third energy center and is located in the upper abdomen. It is connected to personal power, confidence, self-worth, and the ability to take action in the world. Associated with the element of fire and the color yellow, this chakra fuels motivation, clarity, and inner strength. When balanced, it supports healthy self-esteem and decisive action; when out of alignment, it can show up as self-doubt, lack of direction, control issues, or digestive discomfort. Practices such as breathwork, core-focused movement, and mindful awareness are often used to help restore balance and empower this energy center.

We will start each workshop with a centering cacao ceremony designed to help you settle onto the mat and set your intention for your practice. Next, enjoy a Vin2Yin session with poses connecting to the attributes of the chakra and yourself. Starting with gentle vinyasa by Jenelle, followed by relaxing yin yoga led by Michelle. All poses are suitable for all levels. We provide all necessary mats, bolsters, blankets, blocks, and straps, though you are welcome to bring your own.

We conclude with a serene and relaxing sound bath and meditation using crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, and a wave drum.
Engaging in gentle yoga, meditation, and sound therapy together can amplify the benefits. Combining these practices can lead to:

-Holistic Stress Reduction: Addressing stress from multiple angles (physical, mental, and emotional).
-Enhanced Mind-Body Connection: Improving the synchronization between the mind and body.

Cost: $35.00 drop-in or $30 pre-register/pay (transferrable-yes/  refundable-no)

Location: the Inspired Mind Matters Wellness Studio, 300 14th St NW, Long beach WA, on the Chautauqua Resort property.
