Along the way, you will learn more about Algalita’s work and how Clean Bay Collective was created to educate and connect our community, helping deepen relationships with and understanding of Alamitos Bay and our local waters.Throughout the event, we’ll have hands on educational demonstrations happening around the space. Stop by the microscopes to take a closer look at microplastics and marine life, explore our Clean Bay Collective water quality testing kits, and learn how community science helps us track the health of the bay.Whether you are a longtime supporter or visiting for the first time, we invite you to come by, ask questions, and get to know our space and programs!What to expect:Open access to our learning center and lab spacesSignup for the Moore Institute's Microplastics Lab Tours (one of the first labs in the US to be accredited to test for microplastics in drinking water!)
