Yoga Child Teacher Training, 95 hr training: Teaching Yoga and Mindfulness to Children, Pre-K Through Grade 5.

Join Yoga Child's ERYT's and RCYT's Elizabeth Zack and Heather Marie Miller for this 95 hr in-person training at the beautiful Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, PA. Enjoy daily yoga and meditation classes, three organic meals per day, retreat  accommodations, and unlimited access to the beautiful hiking and walking trails of the Pocono Mountains; all while training to become a Certified Yoga Child teacher. Please note, the rate is for your 95 hr teacher training and does not include room and board, or spa services. Individuals are responsible for reserving their own private or shared room.

Your enrollment in this 95-hour training comes with 6-9 hours of post training remote conversation, supervision, and Q & A with Yoga Child Founder and award winning children's book author, Gail Silver.

Yoga Child, founded in 2002, is a two-time "Best of Philly" award winner and was Philadelphia's first Registered Children's Yoga School(RCYS). Upon completion of this 95hr training and requisite teaching hours, RYT's are eligible to become Registered Children's Yoga Teachers (RCYT) with the Yoga Alliance.

To Participate in this training, please make sure you obtain:

• The Yoga Child Teacher Training Manual

(Amazon purchase link will be available at yogachild.net 30 days prior to your training start date. You will not be able to participate without this manual. It contains your assigned reading material, sample lesson plans, original teachings, instructions, themes, yoga based games, and signature materials for incorprating select kid-lit into your mindfulness lessons.)

• A Yoga Child’s Original Instructional CD of music and meditations

It is recommended that you consider purchasing these books prior to the training. These will be valuable resources once you are teaching yoga and mindfulness to children. They will be referenced throughout the training, and can be found at local booksellers (used and new), indiebound, and on Amazon.
