Organic Church Conference
There's a big difference between "Church as we know it" and Ekklesia as God intended.
Are you curious about Organic Church, House Church, Simple Church or just ready for something that looks more like the New Testament form of worship?
This event is for you.
Are you already part of an Organic Church but looking to connect with others who are on the same journey? Interested in sharing what you know and learning from others who are on the same page?
This event is for you, too.
Join us for a special weekend devoted to exploring Ekklesia as God Intended.
Our conversations will start with short presentations by:
*Neil Cole [Author of "Organic Church"]
*Dan Notti [Bible Teacher; Conference Speaker]
*Ross Rohde [Author of "Viral Jesus"]
*Keith Giles [Author of "This Is My Body: Ekklesia As God Intended"]
Following each presentation, we will engage in an open dialog together and share what we know about experiencing Jesus as our Head.
Some topics include:
*"How to have a meeting with Jesus (Not just attend a meeting about Jesus)"
*"How to release the members of the Body to "be the Church" in their community"
*"How God sees us vs How we see ourselves"
*How to become Missionaries to our neighbors, co-workers and friends"
*How to make disciples (Not just converts)"
REGISTER EARLY. SEATING IS LIMITED TO 100 PEOPLE. NOTE: For those who register for Saturday, there is a special Pre-Event Dinner on Friday Evening. This will be an opportunity to meet other attendees and also to share a meal with everyone, including some of the presenters, prior to the event on Saturday. An email with the time and location of the Friday Dinner will be sent at a later time.ALSO: Everyone who attends the event will receive a FREE copy of an unpublished e-book called "Unraveled" by author Keith Giles which examines the dangers of mixing faith and politics. ABOUT OUR PRESENTERS:All of our conversations together will be led by practitioners who have years of experience in organic church settings. They have each helped to start new house churches and regularly coach others on how to experience a New Testament-style gathering of believers where Christ is the Head and everyone is free to share their spiritual gifts to edify one another and help everyone grow up into Christ. SESSION DETAILS:
TITLE: A Place at the Table PRESENTER: Dan NottiDESCRIPTION: "What if God isn't who we think He is...and neither are we?" God is essentially relational and He has invited us into a relationship with Himself and others. Unfortunately, for many of us, how we view God and how we view ourselves, prevents us from enjoying the fullness of what we have and are in Christ. It's time to take our "Place at the Table" by embracing our identity in Christ!
TITLE: Jesus: Lord of the HarvestPRESENTER: Ross Rohde
DESCRIPTION: If Jesus is Lord of the Harvest we need to learn how to follow him into His harvest. This session will focus on the discernment skills necessary to not only follow Jesus into a fruitful harvest but emulate him when he said, "I only do what I see the Father doing." The session will show the biblical examples of Jesus following the Father and Paul and his team following the Spirit of Jesus to fruitful ministry in Macedonia. It will explore the useful discernment skills of recognizing and listening to the voice of God, learning to observe when God is at work, developing a ministry where Jesus can lead, and recognizing and enjoying "God moments." In all of this, the intention is to become more adept at having adventures with God instead of merely doing work for God.TITLE: On Rising TidesPRESENTER: Neil ColeDESCRIPTION: TBATITLE: A Meeting With Jesus (Not Just About Him)PRESENTER: Keith GilesDESCRIPTION: We say that Jesus is the Head of the Body, but how do we allow Jesus to actually lead us when we come together? We say that whenever two or more are gathering together in His Name that Jesus is in our midst, but what does that look like? How do we submit ourselves to Christ and to one another so that Jesus can truly orchestrate us to accomplish His purposes? Is this even possible? All of these questions and more will be explored in our session and we will take time to practice this together as a group.
