John Prine is widely regarded as one of the most significant songwriters of the last century. His remarkable catalogue spans five decades and 18 studio albums, filled with songs that stand the test of time. From early classics like Sam Stone, Illegal Smile, and Angel From Montgomery, to lesser-known gems such as Linda Goes to Mars, Grandpa Was a Carpenter, and Six O’Clock News, all the way to his final album Tree of Forgiveness with tracks like Summer’s End and Knockin’ on Your Screen Door, Prine’s music blends humour and heartbreak, social commentary and satire, love, honesty, and realism.

All The Best is a tribute show created by passionate Prine fans, featuring Paddy Nash, Junior Johnson, Sean Doone (No Oil Paintings), and Donal Scullion (The Unholy Gospel Band), alongside special guest vocalists and a stellar backing band. Their debut performance at Atlantic Sessions in November 2024, held at a sold-out Portrush Playhouse, received outstanding acclaim. The show is a loving homage to John—honouring the beauty of his songs without attempting exact replicas, capturing the essence and spirit that fans cherish.
