Meet local energy healers, and purchase signed copies of Katherine Krige's two books: ‘Roughing it in Africa’, and grief memoir ‘Riding the Waves: A Memoir of Love, Loss, & Grief’.Also enjoy hot appetizers, coffee, tea, sweet snacks and a cash bar. As always, there will be a silent auction, raffles, and African jewelry and colourful textiles for sale!We look forward to seeing you there!About ZirikanaZirikana is the umbrella organization for the non-profits Living with Happiness and Rwandan Mothers Team.As young girls, founders Aimee and Clarisse survived the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi but lost their parents and 4 siblings. The 1994 Genocide against Tutsi left the country ravaged, families destroyed, and many girls growing up without a mother figure. Through this tragedy, however, has grown hope, and revival of life and culture.Zirikana works with women and children to support family harmony, resilience and sustainable financial security.
