# Event Details - **Event Name**: Women's Voice and Drum Connection Workshop - Oct - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 10 Oct, 2026 at 02:00 pm – Sat, 10 Oct, 2026 at 06:00 pm (+01:00) - **Event Description**: Create a deeper connection with your voice through the support of the drum. Let's explore and discover our voices.About this EventSo many women at this time are feeling a call to heal their connection with their voice. There’s a longing to express ourselves more fully. And to break through patterns of keeping quietWorking with the drums and the voice together can be a liberation of self expression and can create a supportive environment to allow our authentic voice to emerge. We aren't aiming to sound 'perfect' or 'nice' we will be inviting the realness of our voices to gently be uncovered. So many of us have wounds around our voices not being welcomed. And in this space we are looking to welcome the voice as it is. This will be a gentle and deep work.Meeting you where you are and helping you move at your own pace to a deeper connection with your voice, having it heard and welcomed. This workshop is a space for women to reconnect with their authentic voice and be supported by the sounds and rhythm of the drum - unlocking self-expression, empowerment, and a deeper connection to ourselves.Through guided vocal practices, drumming, gentle healing experiences and intuitive sound work, we will:🔸 Liberate the voice – Explore humming, sounding, simple chants, and free expression to explore our voices at a pace that feels right for us and discover our own unique voices.🔸 Connect with the drum – Experience the grounding and transformative power of drums to heal and connect, allowing the drums to support us as we explore our voices.🔸 Deepen Inner connection – Use sound and rhythm for self-discovery, healing, and inner connection.🔸 Come together – In this space we will be giving each other permission to explore our voices. And in so doing unravel generations of wounds and fears around being heard.Emma Hewitt, a drama facilitator, drum circle holder and energy healer will be guiding the group through a series of voice explorations and drumming to find a deeper connection with our voices with the aim to experience greater self expression. It’s the kind of day where everyone can work at their own pace and there’s no expectations - let's co-create a space where we can open up to something very beautiful - our own voices. This will be a safely held trauma informed, non judgemental and supportive environment so we can be as brave as we feel in any moment to explore our voices. If this is calling, do join - it would be wonderful to have you with us.There's no skills or experience of drumming needed. There will be plenty of drums to borrow or bring your drum if you have one (we’ll be working with shamanic style drums - sometimes called frame drums).‘I went to a wonderful workshop yesterday held by Emma Hewitt 'The Women's Voice and Drum Connection' workshop was a very empowering experience. Exploring my own voice with drum and hearing other women loudly and wildly expressing their inner voice was a deeply powerful and moving experience. We connected with our ancestral voices as part of the session and I feel a door opened, I'm now excited about exploring my voice with the spirit of drum. Thank you Emma for offering a safe and empowering space for all of us attendees.’ Maggie“I have attended around four voice & drum workshops so far and the transformation that has been witnessed has been incredible. Emma is so welcoming into the space and meets you where you are at with so much compassion and understanding. These drum sessions are an opening to meet more of you and to not be afraid to be seen and heard. I just love attending them and I get something different each time. Just to say thank you Emma from the bottom of my heart for all the support and guidance you have given during these workshops.” LianneThis workshop is open to all who identify as women, as well as non-binary individuals who feel called to this space.Cost: £45 If you'd like to avoid fees and pay directly email Emma on salamaytarot@gmail.comEntry to the building: Press the buzzer on the right of the door.
