Complexity adds another layer of challenge, often fuelling suspicions of inefficiency and eroding trust further.This year’s Women in Tax debate will explore whether greater transparency and accountability can help rebuild confidence in the tax system.Key questions we will consider:Should companies voluntarily disclose their tax strategies and payments?How can tax authorities incentivise openness and simplify reporting?Can linking tax revenues to specific public services, implementing effective anti-abuse measures, and using AI in tax administration make the system fairer and more trusted?Join us for an engaging discussion with our excellent panellists, chaired by Anastasia Nourescu (Chair of Women in Tax and Partner at Stewarts).
