Our curated day events are designed to immerse you in the beauty of nature while igniting your creative spark.This hankie code embroidery workshop brings together craft and history through the iconic cruising code. Through the workshop you will learn about the origins of the code, what it all means, and how to use it, practice basic embroidery techniques, and have the chance to personalise and take away your very own customised hankie.The workshop will begin with introductions, lead onto a talk about the code, then a basic embroidery demonstration, finishing with time to work on your own embroidery. @jeng_au will come round and support participants with their pieces. All skill levels are welcome.This session is facilitated by Jeng. From there to the venue there's one set of steps in the street but there is a ramp option. The ground floor is accessible and has 1 accessible toilet with wheelchair space.There are 2 steps down to the room we will be using. There is a foldout ramp available which has a 77cm clearance at the bottom of it to navigate the stone firepit in the room.
