The majority of profits from London Wool are reinvested back into the participating community farms.This will be followed by a talk from Justine on Britain’s rare and heritage sheep breeds, their distinctive wool qualities, and why their preservation matters. She will also speak about The Wonder of Wool and the development of London Wool.In the second half of the evening attendees will have the opportunity to experiment with London Wool and a selection of rare breed yarns, to begin knitting something to take home and receive guidance. Beginners are very welcome! The interactive session will be delivered in conjunction with The Roaming Sheep.Copies of The Wonder of Wool will be available to purchase on the night. Yarn will be provided for use during the session, and participants will be able to take home what they make.Tickets are £25 and numbers are limited.
