Bios:
The Snakeoil Rattlers
The Snakeoil Rattlers have continued to work tirelessly to cement their place in the UK Southern Rock and Americana scene. The strong narrative of their songs often finds them compared to songwriting notaries including the Drive-by Truckers, Townes Van Zandt, and Steve Earle, but with a sound distinctly their own.

The Outlaw Punk Country Radio Show described them as having "Smooth rural southern lyrics and native hymning" and The Imperial Palace of Big Red call them "The most authentic sounding Southern Rock band in London”.

"Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! I was blown away by it ('Fire in the Hole'). Worthy of a John Peel moment. I'm playing it again. A grass roots band really going somewhere"
— Stephen Lowin, Storm FM
"Marvellous Stuff from the Marvellous album 'Backwater'"
— Mark Worden, Wordy's World, Hard Rock Hell Radio
"If you like Southern country rock, authentic sounding whiskey driven rock you want to get to know them, definitely."
— Natasha Strange, Strange Country Show, Radio 365
"One of the best records of 2022"
— Dan Raza, Spirit and Roots

The Outlaw Orchestra
Three accomplished musicians from the south coast of the UK exuding the Saturday night hell raising escapism of the weekend. Dubbed ‘Heavy Grass’ by one DJ due to the combination of Hard Rock meets Country twang but maybe most accurate would be as suggested by another radio station:

The Outlaw Orchestra ~ The love child of Motorhead and Johnny Cash!

The Outlaws are at home in at a bike festival, an arts centre, a steamy rock bar or a country stage and can adjust the volume accordingly. Slide guitar, Pedal Steel guitar, Banjo, gravel vocals and solid thumping drums delivering original catchy hard rocking songs about everyday life laced with deep south spirits and delivered with a British rock n Roll sense of humour.

They drew the biggest crowd ever at Ramblin Man’s Rising stage. They pulled the largest outdoor crowd at Custom Rock n Blues Bike festival since Motorhead. Invited countless times to grace the Sheffield 02 stage, Sheffield Bowl and Planet Rock stages. They have supported Skid Row, The Dead Daisies, The Darkness, Brothers Osbourne, Phil Campbell of Motorhead on tour, Reef, The Kentucky Headhunters and so many more.

The constant on the road hard work has paid off with weekly air time of Planet Rock Radio, BBC Introducing, countless online radio stations and hitting the pages of Hard Rock Hell mag, Metal Planet, Emerging Rock bands and Powerplay Magazine.

The records demonstrate musical ability and clever song writing but it’s live that they thrive putting on a show wherever they play, pulling the audience in and ensuring a wild night for everyone, no better demonstrated by pulling the largest queue to a merchandise stand ever at Planet Rocks Winters End festival selling out all merchandise within an hour.

The outlaw Orchestra will leave you with a sore foot from stamping, a sore face from grinning and some devilish Outlaw in your blood!

Javier H. Ayensa
Javier is a Madrid born musician (although Navarro at heart) based in London since more than 2 decades.

Javier recorded his debut under his initials JHA in 2014. Never having been convinced of that moniker, he decided for this occasion to go for “The Dankoes”, a sign of love for one of his favorite musicians, the sorely missed Rick Danko. To read Javier's press chronicles (as a journalist), or to listen to him talking about his favorite artists with such an amount of passion, makes you realize that in spite of his talent, what took him so long to start his musical career was only genuine respect and immense admiration for the greats. The cause of huge creative block that leaves you wondering who's that you don't want to disappoint: them (although they quite surely will never listen to you) or yourself.

Ultimately, for all negative experiences, life brings some positive ones and the series of eventualities that happened between his promising debut in 2014 and now Some Kind of Grit, allowed him to grow as a singer and guitarist. He became an architect of memorable riffs and solos that exude the essence of Rory Gallagher or even Jimi Hendrix. In fact, you can already feel their presence in the first bars of this great piece of work…Turn up the volume to 11 and enjoy Some Kind of Grit !
