Maddrell has achieved a distinct and totally convincing sound through the literary geography of lamping wild rabbits, one that gives the impression it’s been everywhere and returned because it survived.Hosted by Jonathan Blake, who was diagnosed with HIV in 1982.Jonathan will also read from the verse memoir project, Patient L1, (all written in Jonathan's voice by Simon Maddrell). Afterwards, Jonathan will facilitate a Q&A. Doors at 6.30pm. Event from 7-8.30pm.All ticket proceeds go to UK AIDS Memorial Quilt Partnership.The UK AIDS Memorial Quilt is an irreplaceable piece of social history. It tells the stories of many of those lost in the early days of the HIV AIDS epidemic in the 80’s and 90’s.
