Does your business have the right tools in place?About this EventIn partnership with the Institute of Directors, Gallup invites you to an exclusive executive briefing and networking event. This event will explore the state of employee engagement in the UK and how board-level leadership can catalyse cultural transformation and performance. The ChallengeDespite increased investment in workplace well-being and flexibility, employee engagement in the UK remains alarmingly low—just 10%, according to Gallup’s State of the Global Workplace report. The UK now ranks among the lowest in Europe for workplace engagement. The consequences are not just cultural—they are commercial. In an era defined by economic uncertainty, talent shortages, and shifting workplace expectations, leaders cannot afford to overlook culture as a business imperative. The OpportunityThe data is clear: when leaders create a culture where people are engaged and thriving, organisations see measurable gains in retention, performance, and profitability. Culture is no longer just an HR concern—it is a boardroom priority. In this interactive session, Gallup experts will equip you with the insights, tools, and practical frameworks to lead workplace transformation from the top.Who Should Attend? This event is designed for board directors, C-suite leaders, chairs, non-executive directors, and senior HR and transformation leaders seeking actionable insights into workforce strategy, culture, and performance.Event HighlightsGain exclusive access to Gallup's latest global and UK workplace dataUnderstand how to measure engagement and performance using Gallup’s Q12® frameworkExperience a practical exercise to assess your own culture—and where to take it nextDiscover the science of Strengths-Based Leadership, and how to unlock discretionary effortConnect with fellow directors over lunch and post-event networking, all hosted on the 18th floor of The ShardAgenda?: 01:00 PM - 02:00 PMArrival, Lunch & Networking?: 02:00 PM - 02:15 PMOpening Remarks?: 02:15 PM - 03:00 PMKeynote Address & Culture Audit?: 03:00 PM - 03:30 PMUnlocking Human Potential Discussion?: 03:30 PM - 03:40 PMClosing Remarks?: 03:40 PM - 04:30 PMCoffee, Networking & Executive Conversations - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/london/the-great-british-work-disconnect/100001634846352449 - **Event Categories**: contests - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 19.96, max: 19.96, currency: GBP ## Event venue details - **city**: London - **state**: EN - **country**: United Kingdom - **location**: The Shard - **lat**: 51.5045 - **long**: -0.0865 - **full address**: The Shard, 32 London Bridge Street, London, United Kingdom ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: The Great British Work Disconnect - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events7/banners/18669a2ed6f32a48e28d4aa2f4298bd7f51e63a9b12a6959bd2ed22d720e65f6-rimg-w1200-h600-dc018eee-gmir.jpg?v=1758540813 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is The Great British Work Disconnect being held? - **A:** The Great British Work Disconnect takes place on Tue, 18 Nov, 2025 at 01:00 pm to Tue, 18 Nov, 2025 at 04:30 pm at The Shard, 32 London Bridge Street, London, United Kingdom. - **Q**: Who is organizing The Great British Work Disconnect? - **A:** The Great British Work Disconnect is organized by Institute of Directors. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
