Our fun and interactive event starts with a vocal warm-up, preparing the “Aled” within for the unforgettable Walking in the Air sequence before we prepare scenes from the 1982 animated film using instruments from around the world and other ingenious foley sound FX to capture sounds from the film. The 30-min workshop is followed by a screening of Dianne Jackson’s magical film (also 30 mins). A final highlight for families is to try out instruments after the show, or draw a postcard for our collection inspired by the animation.The show is ideal for children aged 4+ and their grown-ups who team up to become the magical orchestra. To keep the magic alive, please keep all phones in bags until the end.
