It will be our 3rd annual celebration of books, creativity and culture on Saturday 22nd August 2026 in Hackney.After two incredible years of packed audiences, unforgettable activities and sold-out success, we're back even bigger and better! Juliet Coley's children's story Crayven the Nyamming Jancro is about a feral bird who travels to 10 Caribbean islands to eat their national dish. The CBBF UK are giving children a chance to meet Crayven and taste some of the tropical delights the islands have to offer. He opened the 2025 Children's Black Book Fair and we are honoured to rename this space after this icon. We have exciting activities planned for the children around Authors the children may not be familiar with, their Books, Black British History and Legacy. Children should not be left unattended at any activity, workshop, storytelling session or display.Where applicable, individuals undertaking roles that require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will hold the appropriate level of DBS clearance.
