The Bar Council’s Pupillage Fair is the largest recruitment fair run by the Bar for the Bar of the future. This event will give you the chance to engage with practising barristers, find out about their work and gain insight into what a career at the Bar involves. This year's Pupillage Fair will take place in London on Saturday 19 October 2024 and will be complemented by a series of online life at the Bar webinars from Monday 14 to Thursday 17 October 2024.

The Pupillage Fair is delivered in partnership with the Council of the Inns of Court and supported by the Specialist Bar Associations and Circuits.

At the Pupillage Fair, you can:

• Meet with over 120 exhibitors from a wide range of pupillage providers and specialist associations across the Bar

• Get advice on CVs and applications from practising barristers

• Find out more about funding and support from the Inns of Court

• Hear from practising barristers on their experience at the Bar and on Circuit

• Discuss prospects with representatives from a wide range of pupillage providers

• Hear about the different communities that you can join, who will support you throughout your career

In the week leading up to the Pupillage Fair, we will be hosting a series of life at the Bar webinars from Monday 14 to Thursday 17 October 2024. You will hear what life is like as a barrister working in different areas of practice, get advice on making the most of the Pupillage Gateway, and learn about different scholarships and schemes available to support you in the start of your career as a barrister.
