The session will commence with a brief introduction/ history of colour through Black/African/ Caribbean art, textiles and fashion.2. This is followed by an introduction to weaving in which attendees will be taught thebasics of weaving on a frame loom. Demonstrations and additional guides provided.3. Attendees will spend the majority of the session creating their own small woven fabricsample based on their yarn wraps on mini loom frames. (Examples of frame weaving attached)4.
