It includes the singing of Carols, music from the Abbey Choir, a sermon and Holy Communion, lasting about an hour.Tickets are free but limited to a maximum of 2 per person, to ensure as many people are able to attend as possible.Applying for ticketsTickets for Sung Eucharist in the morning on Christmas Day at the Abbey are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to a maximum of 2 tickets per person. The service may book up quickly, but if you are not successful in securing tickets initially, tickets may become available if we receive cancellations, so it is worth checking regularly. You can also find out more about our other Christmas services here, most of which are not ticketed and all of which are truly special events.Once you have submitted your details, you will receive a confirmation email containing your e-tickets. Please ensure that you have entered your email address correctly so that this reaches you.On the daySeating is unallocated; the Service has been designed so that everyone attending will have a chance to participate and enjoy it.Doors will open one hour before at 9.30 am.Security checks and bag searches are in operation, so please allow extra time for this. Also ensure that you have a transport plan in place on Christmas Day, noting that public transport does not run in London on Christmas Day.AccessThe Abbey is accessible to all forms of wheelchair. If you have additional access requirements, please apply for your tickets online as above, and then contact us with your booking number and the nature of your access needs at special.events@westminster-abbey.org. The Abbey is equipped with a hearing induction loop system that covers the whole of the main building and we are able to provide large print Orders of Service.The Service is suitable for all ages.
