These workshops are aimed at follows but everyone is welcome and leads will learn a lot about the role of the follow which will improve their own dancing.

DAY 1 – The Mechanics of Partner Dancing 12-4pm
 
This workshop will take you on a deep dive into the Fundamentals of partner dancing! We will look at body awareness through Posture, Tone, Energy and Direction, focusing on movement exercises which show how it all works together in practice.

You’ll learn how followers and leaders can keep their individuality while working within the dance partnership.

Get ready to take your dancing to the next level!

 

DAY 2 – Creativity and Expression 12-4pm
 
In part two you’ll be encouraged to express your individuality as a dancer. Suga Bomb promotes self-analysis, self-expression, and experimentation without creative boundaries.

You’ll explore how you can practice body movement and exercises independently to own your dance and work on what you want to improve.

You’ll also look in detail at the tools followers have to be creative within the partnership and work on finding your voice, becoming visually stylish and feeling great whilst dancing.
