# Event Details - **Event Name**: STORIES - The Tap Dance Sensation - **Event Start and End Date**: Wed, 14 Oct, 2026 at 07:30 pm – Sat, 31 Oct, 2026 at 07:30 pm (+00:00) - **Event Description**: Urban jazz, tap and percussion collide in this high-energy phenomenon. Icarus – a young actor – is already a big hit on screen. Yet, behind the scenes, he’s under the oppressive influence of his director. After an epic argument, Icarus finds himself unable to escape the film director’s stranglehold. This is a spectacular show that brings tap dance to new heights. Stories’ creators – RB Dance Company – were launched onto the world stage when the company reached the finals of France’s Got Talent both in 2018 and 2024. The company brings together urban jazz, tap and percussion in a captivating showcase of physicality. After touring in Europe with audiences of over 300,000 people and a sold-out first run at the Peacock Theatre in 2024, the critically-acclaimed Stories is coming back to London for 20 new performances! 📍 Venue Description: The Peacock Theatre often plays host to dance performances, conferences, ballet, pop concerts and award ceremonies. The stage is approximately 36 feet (11 m) by 33 feet (10 m). The 999-seat house is owned by and comprises part of the London School of Economics and Political Science campus, who utilise the theatre for lectures, public talks, conferences, political speeches, and open days. The university has a long lease with Sadler's Wells with whom it has negotiated a deal to bring in commercial companies under the banner "Sadler's Wells in the West End".  ### **The History Of The Peacock Theatre** The present, smaller theatre was built and christened The Royalty Theatre in 1960, located on the basement level of an office building but was later bought by the London School of Economics and renamed The Peacock Theatre.
