- **Event Description**: In a world that never stops moving, standing still is a radical act.The word solstice comes from the Latin for standing still. The moment the sun reaches the highest point in the sky and, just for a breath, chooses to pause. On Sunday 21st June I’m holding a full day retreat to do exactly that. To pause at the height of the year. To release what we’ve been carrying through the first half of it. And to open up space for what we actually want the next six months to feel like. Standing still is a full day retreat for anyone who needs to come back to themselves. We will move through Kundalini Activation, sound healing, Reiki, candle magic, and ceremonial ritual into one sacred arc. Rooted in ancient tradition, held with warmth, and designed to leave you feeling clear, activated, and deeply restored. And it’s held in a beautiful studio with a garden in London, so we’ll be taking the day outside whenever the sun shows up for us. What we’ll do togetherOpening circle & solstice meditation We start slow. Settle in, meet each other, and drop into a guided meditation with intention setting. Kundalini Activation This is the heart of the morning. KA works below the thinking mind to release and rise. Expect to feel things shift. Declicous seasonal lunch Great food, even better conversation, time to breathe and refuel before the afternoon. Candle magic workshop You’ll hand-dress two candles — one for release, one for what you’re ready to call in. The release candle becomes part of our closing ritual and the manifestation candle comes home with you. Fire & candle ritual A moment of ceremony to consciously let go — as the sun begins its slow return toward darkness, we release what no longer belongs in our story. Reiki & sound bath Our final moment to rest and release, allow the vibrations to carry you away. Closing circle Space to share, integrate, and carry the day forward. Includes all materials for the creative workshop, lunch, teas and refreshments throughout, and your take-home manifestation candle. This day is for you if… You’re ready to step out of survival mode and back into yourself. If you’ve been running on empty and you know you need more than a bath and an early night. You’ve been doing the inner work and you want a day that honours that. You want to celebrate this season with intention, in community, and in ceremony.
