Generations of local young people have passed through our doors, shaping this youth centre with their imagination, friendships, and energy.Over the past year we have brought together new leadership, a brilliant and active board of trustees, and a talented, passionate team of youth workers with deep local roots. Together with our young people, we are beginning to shape the next phase of Somerville’s life.At the heart of this is Somerville Rising, a youth-led hub of community care and collective action.With generous funding from The Elizabeth Legacy Fund, we have recently reopened the playground three evenings a week.
