Sleep your way to happiness - with Professor Russell Foster
Join us for an inspiring event about the importance of sleep. Discover why sleep matters so much and learn practical ways to sleep better and improve your overall health and happiness.
Professor Russell Foster will encourage us to change how we think about sleep and to break free from our sleep-deprived culture. He'll explain how our biological clocks work, why we spend over a third of our lives asleep and the big problems that come from a lack of sleep.
Professor Foster will also share the amazing benefits of sleep for our mental health, decision making, learning and creativity - and provide practical ideas to help us listen to our bodies and sleep our way to a happier and healthier life.

About The Speaker
Professor Russell Foster is Professor of Circadian Neuroscience at Oxford University. His research spans basic and applied circadian and photoreceptor biology. He has written several books, including Seasons of Life, Circadian Rhythms and Sleep: A Very Short Introduction. His TED talk on sleep has had over 6 million views.

This event will take place at Conway Hall in central London on Tues 5 June 2018. Doors will open at 18:30 and the event will start at 19:00
This event is in support of Action for Happiness. We want to make it accessible to as many people as possible, so rather than charging a fixed fee we're instead asking you to make a donation. It would be great if you could donate £20, but if you can spare more, or feel unable to give that much, then please give what you feel is appropriate.
