“Shree Ram Navami” - the birthday of Lord Ram and is one of the most important festivals for Hindus. On this auspicious day, devotees repeat the name of Lord Ram with every breath and vow to lead a righteous life...... People pray to attain the final beatitude of life through intense devotion towards Lord Ram and invoke him for his blessings and protection.

Lord Ram’s advent on earth aimed at the re-establishment of the Truth. He was truly the embodiment of Righteousness. His Life and journey was in perfect accordance with and adherence to “Sanatan Dharma” – the Eternal Truth. Despite rigorous trials posed by circumstances, time and again, he set forth an example of ideal living for the entire mankind. Lord Ram was an ideal son, an ideal brother, an ideal husband, an ideal friend, an ideal warrior, an ideal king and an ideal man.

The world is an increasingly unstable place, the future uncertain, both gain and loss in life is assured, but if we can strive to live each day with a dedication to Lord Ram’s fundamental principles – ‘Truth, Love and Compassion’ - for ourselves, for each other & for the Earth - what more could ever be asked from us? - These principles are, in fact, the only everlasting guide we have on this journey called life. In these turbulent times, waking up day after day to news of war and strife, death, despair and disaster - not a corner of the globe is untouched - it is more important yet harder than ever to find a sense of peace within us. World Governments find it hard to act, religion provides no safe haven and the Earth appears to be destroying itself and us with every passing environmental calamity. Thus, Lord Ram’s is a paragon to be emulated.

We are delighted that we will be graced at the event by renowned Indian Spiritual Leaders - Pujya Shri Sanjeev Krishna Thakurji of Vrindavan India, Pujya Shri Ram Bapa of UK and Pujya Shri Gaur Gopal Das of Mumbai India.

Pujya Shri Sanjeev Krishna Thakurji is not only a great orator, he is also an outstanding and distinguished personality committed to serve humanity. One summer’s day, Pujya Shri Thakurji – was walking around Goverdhan - the pious parvat hill in Brij Bhoomi, when he saw several Gau Mata (mother cows) scanning heaps of garbage to find remnants of food. The heaps of garbage also contained polythene bags and leather waste, which the cows were unconsciously eating. This pathetic scenario touched the heart of Pujya Shri Thakurji and he felt so pained and hurt that he vowed that from that day onwards he would work towards building a gaushala (home for cows) for abandoned, sick, elderly, ailing and non-milk giving cows in order to give them a home with love where they can live in peace, abundant of food, water and medical treatment. His vow resulted in the establishment of a huge Gaushala at Neem Gaon, Goverdhan, MATHURA India.

Revered across the World, we are fortunate to have resident in our midst, a dynamic and divine personality affectionately known as Pujya Shri Rambapa. At eighty-six, he continues to radiate tremendous energy, filling people’s hearts with love due to his generous nature, compassion and tireless enthusiasm for God realisation. Upon meeting him one experiences the confluence of devotion, wisdom and humility, bringing about a sense of peace to even the most troubled of hearts. From a very young age Pujya Shri Ram Bapa felt a profound and mystical connection with Lord Hanumanji and set about learning everything about Hanumanji’s life, living for His ideals - humility, selfless service, discipline and being the perfect devotee of the Lord. To this day, Pujya Shri Ram Bapa holds weekly Hanuman Chalisa recitals across the UK. His lineage continues with Jignaysu Satsang mandal and his daughter Bhartiben who has taken a strong lead, She is following in his footsteps, continuing humanitarian work internationally through her own charity Divya Seva Foundation, for which Pujya Rambapa is the patron and helping run the weekly Hanuman Chalisa recitals, distributing thousands of Hanuman Chalisa books and co-ordinating satsangs and pravachans.
