Our programme of events, developed with members of the trans+ community, celebrates trans+ activism and culture, past and present.More about the speakersJaye Hudson (she/her) is a multidisciplinary writer, performer, researcher and film programmer. Her practice explores archives, oral history, and transfeminine cultural memory. It focuses on recovering overlooked histories and developing new approaches to engaging with queer and trans narratives. Her series 'TGirlsonFilm' has screened in the UK, Los Angeles and Helsinki.TgirlsOnFilm (she/her) is the panel host and facilitator.Olivia Campbell Cavendish (she/her) is a human rights advocate and the UK’s first Black, trans lawyer, as recognized by Garden Court Chambers. She is the founder and Executive Director of the Trans Legal Clinic (https://www.translegalclinic.com/), which provides free, essential legal support to transgender individuals. Her work spans grass-roots advocacy, high level stragegy and and national and international human rights.Dr Kamilla Kamaruddin (she/her) is a general practitioner, gender specialist, and clinical lead at the East of England Gender Service, with a professional focus on improving the quality, safety, and accessibility of transgender healthcare. Her work brings together clinical practice, service development, education, and policy engagement, with particular interests in equity healthcare for trans people. Her work is grounded in a commitment to address the structural barriers that continue to affect trans communities.Miggy (they/them) is a queer disabled writer, performer and producer. They have been a member of London Trans+ Pride (LT+P) for three years as a part of the access consciousness team.Alexandra Parmar-Yee (she/her) is a leading campaigner in the fight for trans equality in the UK, where she organised the largest LGBTQ+ mass lobby of Parliament in British political history. She serves as a volunteer with Trans+ Solidarity Alliance.
