His truth turns her world upside down as she struggles with fear, confusion and the pressure of a deeply conservative society. With no one to confide in, Vasudha must also face her dogmatic husband, Damodar, while trying to understand and protect the son she loves.At its heart, Evening Shadows is a moving story of a mother-son bond and the emotional strength needed to withstand prejudice, patriarchy and harsh realities.
