More details will come once the lecturer has been announced.The event is comprised of a series of in-person talks by experts on the topic of the CHRISTMAS LECTURES as well as guided and facilitated discussions about the place of science in society and our daily lives. The aim of the Youth Summit is to gather Young People’s opinions, concerns and interests about the topic to aid the writing of the CHRISTMAS LECTURES script.This event is ideal for post-16 students with interests across the sciences, social sciences, and humanities.The 2026 Youth Summit is a free event, for students aged 16-18. We are inviting teachers to sign up a maximum of 20 students to bring along to the Royal Institution in September, to participate in this event.Book now to secure places. Exact numbers of students can be changed prior to the event, but please book for the rough number of students you would like to come along.We are able to partially reimburse schools for travel expenses, in some circumstances.
