She graduated in 2014 and performed with the Company in Coppelia and Nutcraker productions. She was awarded First Place and Best dancer in National competitions. She has competed in and placed in numerous International Competitions including American Dance Competition 2015, USA (Top 15 with Variation and Highest Score with Pas Deux); 7th Helsinki International Ballet Competition 2012,Finland; Youth America Grand Prix NYC Finals 2013, USA; Silver Medal at the International Dance Seminar In Brasilia, 2011,Brazil.In 2015 she got a soloist contract to dance with Ballets de France in Toulouse, France.She moved to Canada in 2016 to be a Soloist Dancer with Canada´s Ballet Jörgen. In Toronto she also had the pleasure to work with Evelyn Hart in her own group and with teachers and choreographers of National Ballet of Canada.Giovanna secured a scholarship to complete her American Ballet Theatre National Teaching Curriculum provided by YUMIKO dancewear and has since been teaching in Canada, Brazil and England, and leading international masterclasses for students across the world, from France to India. Giovanna is now based in London where she is a freelance dancer and teacher where she teaches at Danceworks , London Ballet Classes and Cit Lit . She was a guest artist doing the role of Clara from 2018 until 2024 with Symphony of Nova Scotia, in Halifax , Canada .She holds a degree for Cultural Production and is also a founder of Dance Connections Agency where she help dancers to achieve their dreams in the dance industry.RICHARD BERENGER Richard is a director, choreographer, dramaturg and teacher.
