His mastery of piano, violin, and bansuri will bring another layer of depth and beauty to this collective experience of sound and presence.About Taro:Taro / Vincent Morris is a London-based multi-instrumentalist, facilitator, and educator whose work weaves together music, contemplative practice, and immersive performance. Originally trained in classical violin and piano, his practice has evolved to explore meditative, somatic, and ceremonial spaces. His repertoire now includes the use of Tibetan bowls, gongs, flutes, voice and percussion.Vincent draws from a diverse range of traditions to create experiences that cultivate presence, deepen awareness, and foster integration between body and mind. Through the power of sound, movement, and guided practice, he invites participants into spaces of connection, exploration, and restoration.Recent festival appearances include Buddhafield (UK), Latitude (UK), Medicine (UK), and Boom (Portugal). Recent collaborations include projects with Aboutface and the Wampis Indigenous Community of Peru, alongside UK charities Migrant Help and Size of Wales.What to expect?7:05-7:15pm: Arrival and settling in (please no need to arrive before 7:05pm as we'll still be setting up).7:15pm: Doors close and the session begins promptly.8:20pm: Session ends.Simply bring a mat, blanket, eye mask and anything else you need to feel comfortable. During the experience, there's nothing you need to do but just lie back, close your eyes, and allow yourself to be carried by layers of sounds and vibrations.As the gongs blend with a live guest instrument, waves of sound gently wash through the space, offering a soothing sonic massage for body and mind. Many people leave feeling deeply relaxed, refreshed, and more connected to themselves.IMPORTANT NOTE:Gong baths are not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker, or for anyone with epilepsy. They are also not recommended for women in the first trimester of pregnancy due to the sensitive nature of this stage.If you wear hearing aids, please switch them off during the session. It's a five minute walk from Holloway Road which is well-served by buses.There is plenty of cycle parking on Penn Road and some in the church grounds. Bicycles are not allowed inside the building.There's no car parking available on site, but there is on-street parking (limited pay and display).
